Certificate of Health Safety – LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt
The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt.
NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results of this food supplement comply with binding regulations, in particular:
- Act No. 110/1997 Coll., on Food and Tobacco Products, as amended,
- Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 58/2018 Coll., on food supplements and the composition of foods,
- Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers,
- Regulation (EC) No. 1925/2006 on the addition of vitamins and minerals and of certain other substances to foods,
- Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1170/2009 (list of vitamins and minerals and their forms),
- Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 / (EU) No. 915/2023 – maximum levels for certain contaminants.
The product was tested by the accredited testing laboratory of the National Institute of Public Health in Prague (Testing Laboratory No. 1206).

Certificate of Health Safety – LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt, effervescent tablets with minerals
The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has also issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt, effervescent tablets with minerals.
NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results of the effervescent tablets comply with binding legal regulations (the same set of acts and regulations as listed above).
The product was tested by the accredited laboratory ALS Czech Republic s.r.o., Testing Laboratory No. 1163.

NIPH has also issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the product SAL CAROLINUM – THERMAL SPRING SALT from Karlovy Vary mineral springs.
Here as well, NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results comply with binding legal regulations of the Czech Republic and the EU for food supplements and foods.
The product was tested by the accredited laboratory ALS Czech Republic s.r.o., Testing Laboratory No. 1163.

For export purposes, the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has issued CERTIFICATES OF SAFETY AND FREE SALE for LEON food supplements.
LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt
NIPH confirms that the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt is a freely tradable product in the country of origin and that no objections are known to its export.
It is also confirmed that the product is suitable for human consumption and meets the requirements of Czech food law and related EU legislation (Act No. 110/1997 Coll., Decree No. 58/2018 Coll., Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, Regulation (EC) No. 1925/2006, (EC) No. 1170/2009 and (EU) No. 915/2023).
